It's Fran and Roger's wedding anniversary today! What a way to spend it. We helped catch some fish this morning at the Chinese nets, then had tiger prawns cooked for a second breakfast.
Murugan has come down from the Goodwill village to collect us, and has been a fantastic guide today. We have been to the spice market, some churches and markets.
It's 32 degrees in the shade, so we're now having a siesta before our tea. Tonight we're off on that overnight train journey. We've got Pass thePig and Quiddler to play on the way, in case we don't sleep!
Don't worry if you don't hear from us for a while, we have very little time in Madurai and there is no internet at the Goodwill Village. We are all very excited at meeting the children and the tribal outreach!

A very happy anniversary to you, Fran and Roger! I'm inspired - maybe I'll fly over to Hong Kong to join Paul for ours! (We're pretending ours is the 11th this year, when he'll be back!). Your adventure looks amazing!... Fran your smile could not be broader in these pics, Rog - are you ever going to change your t-shirt (it must be getting a bit sweaty!)?
