We've had a long day travelling by car... minibus ... plane ... plane ... minibus again. Luckily, they were giving away Pimms at the airport!
The plane journeys were fab - Qatar looked after us well and the only accident involved Bridget, red wine and Chrissy's cream linen trousers!
We arrived at 4.30am and had an interesting ride to the resort along some village roads.
A much needed bed!
We are now enjoying the peace and tranquility of the Beach and Lake hotel. We've had a boat ride over to breakfast where we have eaten local foods and appreciated the stunning backdrop.
Someone was very late for breakfast ... and someone else had to be woken up an hour and a half later!!
Our big plan for today is to walk along the beach and relax. We may attempt the rickshaw ride to Kovalam later.
